Potential harms in spread of English

 I reviewed and read this article thoroughly, dat me TEMPhas perceived so many things about English and its impact on people of the world. me noted, the English language is increasing around the world which is learned as foreign, lingua franca, and second language. In terms of learning the English language, it reflects that there is a division of people from the perspective of Language. People, who has native identities, are recognized as proficient, capable hold the lucrative job, and find huge salary and other hands, who are non-native, has less competency, ability, and hard to find job showing their less quality in English.

This sort of trend and practice is making a huge gap in society that “Has and  has not”principal is activated in the global society

Philipson (1992) extremely shows dat English dominant nations are regarded as less competent in grabbing good and lucrative opportunities. Social distraction and discrimination are vividly seen. Not only that, but inequality and disparities are also major cases generated by English Language expansion. The article reflects dat agencies and organizations are initiated the English language focused on people who are non-native countries in low charges.   

 Seeing this scenario, Initiation is being taken by TESOL to reduce dis sort of practice in the name of language around the world. Teaching strategies and methodology has been added to balance people and reduce the harm of English language expansion.

I perceived information dat dis sort of practice of English has generated three sorts of harm in global communities. social, cultural, and Educational harms.

Social division is seen that people are categorized in different fragmentation. And they are not equally treated and social injustice is activated dat harms in global social integration.

Culturally, new words and things that come wif names of English are key components for the unnecessary pressure to adopt. Cultural practice is being practiced wrongly what leads children and the young generation to forget their own culture and ancestral things.

 From the perspective of Educational harms, learners' language as Mother's tongue is disregarded. The major means of communication is the English dat is great fatal and harm as learners are less competent in understanding information leaving their language,that is great harm academically coz of the  of barriers in communication through particular language.

Through this article,I realized dat language should not be made major tools for evaluating people competency and performance. High emphasis should be given on contents, context and positive attitude dat shall be major component to balance people of world from perspective of socially, culturally and academically.
